29 July 28, 2010 Amman, Jordan  RUM Group for Transport and Tourism Investment PLC has recently signed a contract with Alba House to acquire Mercedes 2010 models in order to renew its bus fleet.

Rum Group indicated that they had replaced the old buses with the new buses to keep up with the new development and modernization of their services to sustain their global standards as well as to meet the requirements of global and domestic offices.

This year the company has experienced a marked increase in the both of its services for tourist transportation and hotel services. The occupancy rates have increased significantly this year from the previous one: last year’s occupancy rate was 65% while this year the percentage has escalated to 74%  

The number of tourists has grown 80 % from 36900 clients last year, to 56371 this year so far. These numbers reflect that Rum Group is growing steadily and providing a high level of services to clients from around the globe.

Now, the company is currently working on the expansion of both its hotels and the air carrier Petra Airlines to offer integrated services to tourists. These advantages will be reflected in their revenues in addition to the opportunities that are currently available in both the local and global market.
